We live in this world to know Allah and follow His guidance. Allah is the Creator of everything.

Wǒmen zài zhège shìjiè shàng shēnghuó shì wèi le rènshi Zhēnzhǔ Ānlā bìng zūnxún tā de zhǐdǎo. Zhēnzhǔ shì wànwù de chuàngzàozhě.

To Be Tested 接受考验
Allah created us to test who will obey Him and do good, and who will disobey and do wrong.
真主创造我们是为了考验谁会服从他并行善, 谁会违抗并作恶。
Zhēnzhǔ chuàngzào wǒmen shì wèi le kǎoyàn shéi huì fúcóng tā bìng xíngshàn, shéi huì wéikàng bìng zuò è.

How Do We Know? 我们如何知道
We know the truth through guidance. Allah sends prophets to teach us what is right and what is wrong.
我们通过指导来认识真理。真主派先知来教导我们什么是正确的, 什么是错误的。
Wǒmen tōngguò zhǐdǎo lái rènshí zhēnlǐ. Zhēnzhǔ pài xiānzhī lái jiàodǎo wǒmen shénme shì zhèngquè de, shénme shì cuòwù de。

Allah's Messengers 真主的使者
Allah sent many messengers to different nations. For us, Allah sent Prophet Muhammad as the last messenger.
真主向不同的民族派遣了许多使者。对我们来说, 真主派遣了先知穆罕默德作为最后的一位使者。
Zhēnzhǔ xiàng bùtóng de mínzú pàiqiǎn le xǔduō shǐzhě. Duì wǒmen lái shuō, Zhēnzhǔ pàiqiǎn le xiānzhī Mùhǎnmòdé zuòwéi zuìhòu de yī wèi shǐzhě。

What Is a Prophet? 什么是先知
A prophet is a chosen man among people, chosen by Allah to give guidance. Without a prophet, we cannot clearly know what is truly right and what is wrong.
先知是真主在人类中选出的使者, 被选中来给予指导。没有先知, 我们就无法清楚地知道什么是真正正确的, 什么是错误的。
Xiānzhī shì Zhēnzhǔ zài rénlèi zhōng xuǎn chū de shǐzhě, bèi xuǎnzhōng lái gěiyǔ zhǐdǎo. Méiyǒu xiānzhī, wǒmen jiù wúfǎ qīngchǔ de zhīdào shénme shì zhēnzhèng zhèngquè de, shénme shì cuòwù de。

Miracles 奇迹
Allah gives miracles to prophets to prove that they speak the truth. A miracle is something extraordinary that shows Allah's power.
真主赐给先知奇迹, 以证明他们所说的是真理。奇迹是非同寻常的事情, 展示了真主的能力。
Zhēnzhǔ cìgěi xiānzhī qíjì, yǐ zhèngmíng tāmen suǒ shuō de shì zhēnlǐ. Qíjì shì fēitóng xúncháng de shìqíng, zhǎnshì le Zhēnzhǔ de nénglì。
Examples include the splitting of the moon and the Qur'an as a lasting miracle.
例子包括月亮分裂的奇迹, 以及作为永恒奇迹的《古兰经》。
Lìzi bāokuò yuèliàng fēnliè de qíjì, yǐjí zuòwéi yǒnghéng qíjì de Gǔlánjīng。

The Last Prophet 最后一位先知
Prophet Muhammad is the last prophet sent by Allah. After him, no new prophet will come.
先知穆罕默德是真主派遣的最后一位先知。在他之后不会再有新的先知来到。
Xiānzhī Mùhǎnmòdé shì Zhēnzhǔ pàiqiǎn de zuìhòu yī wèi xiānzhī. Zài tā zhīhòu bú huì zài yǒu xīn de xiānzhī láidào。

Prophet Muhammad was born in Mecca, in Arabia. It was an important city with the Kaaba.

Preparing for Revelation 与启示相连的经历
As he grew, he was known as al Amin, the trustworthy. He liked to think deeply about life and stayed away from idol worship, preparing his heart for revelation.
随着他长大, 人们称他为“艾勒阿敏”, 意思是“诚实可信的人”。他喜欢深入思考人生, 远离偶像崇拜, 为接受启示做好心灵上的准备。

In the dark cave, Angel Jibreel suddenly appears and fills the horizon, making the Prophet very afraid and amazed.

The angel commands: "Iqra" (Read). The Prophet replies: "I cannot read" because he is unlettered.

Angel Jibreel holds him tightly three times, each time repeating the command to read, giving him strength and courage.

اقْرَأْ بِاسْمِ رَبِّكَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ
خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ مِنْ عَلَقٍ
اقْرَأْ وَرَبُّكَ الْأَكْرَمُ
الَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِالْقَلَمِ
عَلَّمَ الْإِنسَانَ مَا لَمْ يَعْلَمْ
English translation:

Read in the name of your Lord who created.
Created man from a clinging substance.
Read, and your Lord is the Most Generous.
Who taught by the pen.
Taught man that which he did not know.

你应当奉你的创造你的主之名而诵读。
他用血块创造了人。
你诵读, 你的主是最慷慨的。
他用笔教人。
